Interest in the current stone wall exhibit at Shelburne Museum has resulted in a series of presentations around Vermont about stone walls and the meaning they hold for those who built them, grew up around them and treasure them still today.

The presentations have really been conversations—a sharing of stories about walls and stone work.

Recent presentations have included:

Shelburne, June 2011 (hosted by Shelburne Museum)

Shoreham, June 2011 (Shoreham Historical Society)

Rutland, May 2011 (Osher Program)

Charlotte, March 2011 (Charlotte Senior Center)

South Burlington, March 2011 (Friends of the UVM Hort Farm)

St. Albans, November 2010 (Osher Program)

Bristol, October 2010 (Bristol Historical Society)
