This free-standing boundary wall borrows a style of wall building found in the 'lace' walls of southern New England and famously in the 'singling' walls of the Aran Islands. Rather than built double-sided, the wall is single-stone wide with the length of the stone and friction between stones creating an almost magical stability and durability. All stone from dumped piles of stone on the property.
